I accept that, but i make whatever i can out of it

I don’t own a northface

I don’t own a pair of uggs

I don’t own a pair of sperrys

and I don’t own any high fashion statement

I have what gets me by

I’m not poor, I get by

Tell me then…if you own all these materialistic things…

are you always happy?

you get what you want…

happiness doesn’t last

but joy does

smile for me today

cos think of what you have

and you’ll see that you should be grateful

and well if you’re like me and don’t own too much

you should smile just cos you are living another day

there’s always a reason to smile

There’s this kid in my class and I always greet him with a smile

he use to say. “no its not a good morning”

but now he’s the one that says “good morning” to me

when I’m feeling sad…it shouldn’t last long

its like sunshine a showers.

but I’m a star so I glow

whether or not you see me.
